We Win Elections Across Georgia
If you’ve never met us in person, you probably heard that we live in Atlanta. And that’s as true as any good rumor can be and still be entertaining. All of our Principals have in fact lived in the Atlanta metro. Our VP of Campaigns, Mr. Steen Kirby, is still a resident of Grayson, GA and a veteran of most of the successful campaigns in Gwinnett and Dekalb Counties.
We’re steeped in Georgia politics and Georgia political history. We have big ideas about how to keep Georgia blue, and continue to insist that as long as there are two Democratic US Senators from Georgia that it is in fact, a blue state. We’re deeply invested in winning statewide offices there.
We’ve got a whole set of triggers around the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Nothing good happens there.
In 2025, Georgia Conservation Voters hired Corsair Campaigns to make history. We did not disappoint: We elected the first Democrats statewide for nonfederal office since 2006.
CNN called the Georgia Public Service Commission election one of the five most consequential races of the 2025 cycle, and we won 4 Reed Awards, 3 Pollies, and an AAPC Campaign Excellence award for it.
When we started the work and conducted the research, we found that most voters did not know what the Public Service Commission was, what its responsibilities were, or who sits on the commission.
This posed an interesting challenge: How does an organization oust incumbents of an elected office that Georgians have never heard of?
Corsair developed a multi-stage, multimillion-dollar media campaign to address this and deliver a victory on election day. In phase one, we placed ads explaining what the PSC is and what it does. In phase two, we ran negative ads on the Republican incumbents to weaken them. And in phase three, we deployed GOTV ads that also boosted the Democratic candidates in the race.
And it worked.
Since then, Corsair continues to work with GCV as well as the League of Conservation Voters’ Alabama affiliate, Conservation Alabama, to elect candidates up and down the ballot that will reduce utility costs and protect our environment.
